Sadly, I have only one QI left. Gismo died on October 24, 2003 of liver cancer.
When we moved to North Carolina in September 2005 I was totally worried about how Kitty would make the trip and how she would adapt to the new surroundings.
She did very good. I had her sedated on the very long trip - we flew from Vienna to Washington, DC, had one hour delay in Vienna
already and then we drove from there to High Point, 7 hours. When we arrived in the new apartment, she hid in the closet at first.
The next morning she bravely used her new litter box and started exploring "her" new place. And never looked back! She is as happy
here as she can be. She loves the sunshine, the wildlife that comes to the balcony and the fact that she does not have to share
anything with another cat. I am so very happy that she took it all so well.
